Duane Norman was honored last week at the 2011 Victory of Spirits celebration supporting the Sharp Rehabilitation Services and Sharp HealthCare Foundation. This was a very special evening to recognize the 2011 Eagle Spirit Award winners - the extraordinary patients and staff of Sharp Rehabilitation Services who demonstrate the strength of the human spirit and the power of giving back to others.

A professional videographer, Randy Stubbs, spent a lot of time with Duane and Felicia making this inspirational piece on Duane and his life. I thought that some of you might want to see this short video on one of our own members. Select the link below and enjoy.

Long Love Cars Contest

To celebrate the passion drivers have for their automobiles, the makers of Pennzoil are launching the next phase of the brand’s Long Love Cars campaign. The Long Love Cars campaign focuses on common themes associated with automotive passion, including music and freedom, as well as sharing the joy with others.
To further celebrate those themes, the makers of the brand have teamed up with Paralyzed Veterans of America to support the Mission:ABLE campaign by generously retro-fitting and donating three vehicles - one Car, one Van and one SUV/Truck- for disabled veterans so that these former drivers can reclaim their freedom and love of driving. To determine the recipients of the three adapted vehicles, Paralyzed Veterans is running the Long Love Cars contest and all disabled veterans,
