Bio

Kelly Price Noble is the Executive Director of Cal-Diego Paralyzed Veterans Association and the Chair of the Paralyzed Veterans of America’s Association of Chapter Executive Directors. She has been with the organization for six years.

She received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College with a B. A. in English, French and Third World Relations and earned her M. A. from the University of Phoenix in Organizational Management. Additionally, she earned an Advanced Studies Certificate from San Diego State University in Community Economic Development, and has completed some Master’s work from Loyola College in Maryland in Modern Studies. Lastly, she expects to receive her Doctorate in Health Administration in 2012.

She is also a Part-time Faculty member with the University of Phoenix, teaching undergraduate courses in Communications, Humanities, Research, and Sociology.

She has over 23 years in Public Relations, Television and Sales experience, and was an Emmy Nominee for Gallaudet University’s Fantastic, a television program geared toward children who were deaf and hard of hearing. In 1987, she was awarded 1987 TV & Film Festival Gold Medal Award as the Associate Producer and Assistant Director for Wall $treet Week with Louis Rukeyser’s 1987 Money Guide. Having been raised in the medical community, she feels right at home in the Spinal Cord Injury Center. For over a decade, she was also affiliated with the United States Navy as a member of the Navy Wifeline Association and several Navy Spouse Organizations around the globe, including Agana, Guam and Rota Spain. She received formal training as a Causality Assistance Calls Officer (CACO) for which provided support with base activities in conjunction with the Navy Squadrons Fairconron One & Two.

Her San Diego affiliations are with the Boy Scouts of America, Francis Parker Parents’ Association, working to provide college-preparatory education for a diverse group of students, and is a member of ACHE – American College of Healthcare Executives. Her passions include sports, reading, gardening, and most of all her husband, Ron, and two children: Rachael (16) and Nathaniel (14).
