Eligibility for PVA, Cal-Diego Chapter membership is based on U.S. citizenship, either separation from active duty service under conditions other than dishonorable or current active duty, and incurrence of a spinal cord injury or disease (such as MS,ALS), whether or not service connected in origin. Membership is free.

Check out all the action from this year’s famous Coronado Speed Festival’s “Race at the Base.” This year PVA, Cal–Diego proudly enters three race cars.
Nearly 600 Veterans from across the country participated in the 36th National Veterans Wheelchair Games June 27 – July 2 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Veterans competed in a variety of adaptive sports, including wheelchair basketball, quad rugby, archery, triathlon, track and field, swimming, softball, slalom, nine ball and boccia.
The Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) primary goal has been to assist its members and their families in improving the quality of their lives. This program assists PVA members and their immediate family members by providing scholarship funds to help with a post-secondary education. PVA, Cal-Diego will award up to a total of $3,000.00 in scholarship funding to students.
