Eligibility for Cal-Diego PVA membership is based on U.S. citizenship, either separation from active duty service under conditions other than dishonorable or current active duty, and incurrence of a spinal cord injury or disease (such as MS,ALS), whether or not service connected in origin. Membership is free.

The Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) primary goal has been to assist its members and their families in improving the quality of their lives. This program assists PVA members and their immediate family members by providing scholarship funds to help with a post-secondary education.
PVA will award scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to full-time students and $500 to part-time students for an academic year. For more details, please visit:
